The owner was friendly and sociable, providing helpful information about nearby attractions and activities. the property was exceptionally clean and comfortable, with tastefully decorated rooms. - the location was convenient, with easy access to the ferry and a great pub nearby.
The breakfast was not as advertised, as it required guests to cook their own meals and lacked a proper dining area. The bathroom situation was inconvenient, with the toilet not being in the room, making it difficult to find at night.

I recently stayed at the Database pros in Newhaven for a quick overnight stay before catching the ferry to France. The hosts, Jen and her son, were absolutely amazing. They provided a warm welcome and offered to prepare us breakfast to take with us, even though we had to leave early. The room and apartment were beautifully decorated and very clean. The location was ideal, just a short walk from the Hope Inn for evening food. Jen made us feel like family and I would highly recommend her home to anyone.
Totally recommend this hotel.

The location was perfect for our romantic escape, with a short drive to the ferry port and stunning views of the harbor. the cleanliness of the hotel was exceptional, and our comfortable bed provided a great night's sleep. having access to a kitchen with various tea and coffee options was a bonus.
Although not the hotel's fault, we were disappointed to find that some local restaurants were closed on Mondays. the parking was a bit of a hassle, as we had to park quite a distance away.

The location of the Quay is excellent, close to the beach and restaurants. the facilities, including the rooms and bathroom, were exceptionally clean and comfortable. Claudia, the host, is warm and welcoming, providing helpful information about the area. There is also a resident cat that adds to the homely atmosphere.
The rules of the apartment are quickly fired at you upon arrival, which can be overwhelming after a long day of travel.

We had a fantastic time at the Quay in Newhaven. the variety of breakfast options was outstanding, and the owner offered to prepare us a takeaway breakfast when we had to leave early. the nearby Hope Inn was recommended for dinner and it was a short walk away. the room upgrade for our anniversary was a lovely surprise, and we enjoyed the spacious and immaculately clean accommodations. the sunroom with Netflix was a great bonus, and watching the sunrise from the balcony was unforgettable. the location near the train station and with great sea views was very convenient.
Felt at home instantly, no complaints.

Breakfast delights, it would be great if the WiFi password was easily accessible in the bedroom.

I recently had a unique experience staying in a room in someone's private residence at Quay Villa. It was different, but in a good way. The owner, Claudia, was incredibly helpful and welcoming. She gave us great recommendations for local restaurants and went above and beyond to accommodate our needs. The location was perfect for our ferry journey to France and the accommodation was warm and cozy. I had a comfortable stay and would recommend Quay Villa to others.

the room I had was super clean and spacious, with a lovely little sunroom where I could relax and watch TV. the bathroom was stylish and had a fantastic shower. the owner made sure the heating was on so the room was warm and comfortable. there was free parking available nearby, which was a great advantage.
It was a bit disappointing that there were no tea-making facilities in the room.
